UsedTireShop offers free tools for checking a used tire and an independent directory of used tire shops, operated by UsedTireShop. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Information only: confirm with the shop

Listings are general information gathered from public map listings and shops' own websites. They can be incomplete or out of date: stock changes daily and shops move or close. Always check with the shop before you travel. The shop's own prices, warranties and policies apply.

The tools are not a safety inspection

The tools explain tire markings, quote published rules and tire makers' guidance, and compare what you type with them. They cannot tell whether a particular tire is safe to use: age, storage, damage, repairs and wear all matter, and only a hands-on inspection can judge them. Have a tire professional inspect any used tire before it is mounted, and follow your vehicle maker's tire size, load and speed specifications. Calculator figures are nominal; a real tire's measured size varies by model.

No affiliation

We do not own, operate, represent or endorse any shop we list. Shop names and tire brands belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. See about UsedTireShop.

Data and content

Lines quoted from shops' websites remain theirs and are shown with a link to the source page. Federal regulations quoted on the tool pages are U.S. government works; passages and chart values quoted from tire makers' pages remain theirs and are linked to their source. Our own text, design, tools and compilation are © UsedTireShop. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with a link back; please do not copy or republish the site or its listings wholesale.

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, UsedTireShop is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its information.
